Non Standard Issues

Below is a list of customary charges for custom installation work. Any additional fees will be determined by the technician on site and not Blue Speed LLC and must be confirmed prior to work commencing on site.

Wall Drop: (Approximately $45-$65)- If your computer is on an inside wall and cabling requires technician to go in     attic and drop cables down an inside wall.

Crawl Fish (Approximately $45-65)- A customer that wishes the cabling to be routed under the house through a     crawlspace and through the floor

Pole Mount (Approximately $125-$150)- If customer has a metal roof, or because of trees or other obstructions     blocking the line of sight or customer prefers not to have dish attached to roof then dish must be installed on a     WildBlue approved pole mount. These poles are schedule 40 gator poles, 8 foot long, and buried 3 feet in the     ground. Also includes up to 25 foot of trenching through soft ground

Non-pen Mount (Approximately $125-$150)-This mount usually goes on a commercial building or flat roof.  It     comes with all the proper ballast required and hardware. (Unusual for residential customers)

Networking Wired or Wireless (Approximately $100-$200)(does not include hardware)-The installation cost of     multiple computers can vary depending on how many computers you want installed.  If you want more than 1     computer connected to the WildBlue service, you must have a router.  We do not include router in our free     install. Some brands that we suggest are Belkin or Linksys. Any networking needs should be discussed with     technician prior to arriving on site so that they can have the proper components necessary. Not all technicians will     do networking.

  • Please note that after agreeing to the Standard Installation Pricing Agreement, you decide to cancel your order due to the cost of our customary installation charges listed above that you will be responsible for a $50 shipping and restocking fee. If you are unsure if your house will be considered a standard install please feel free to email any questions to installations@bluespeedusa.com.
